10 Best Things I’ve Ordered from Shein Kids

Have you ordered from Shein Kids before? About 5 years ago this fast fashion giant out of China expanded from women’s and menswear into children’s clothing. 4 years ago I placed my first order.

Over the years Shein Kid’s sizing has gotten more consistent and their prices have gotten a bit higher. Their items are still hit or miss (this this coat I ordered that ended up being very cheap looking and poorly made) but you can find some true gems and fantastic prices. I have a full review and shopping tips for Shein Kids here.

10 Best Purchases from Shein Kids

Here are my 10 favorite things we’ve ordered from Shein Kids over the years. Many of them are still in stock and, if not, I’ve tried to link to additional colors or similar items.

1: Pink Plaid Coat

This is a steal of a deal when it comes to a cute, fully lined kids coat. This is darling for fall, winter, and early spring.

Coats on Shein are hit or miss when it comes to quality but this one is as nice as a similar plaid coat my daughter had from GAP the previous season.

2: Ribbed Lounge Set

I bought all three kids these matching lounge sets last fall and they’ve worn them around the house, to pajama day at school, and to sleep in. They’ll wear the henley top separately with jeans and we’ve washed them over a dozen times and they don’t show signs of wear.

They’ve very comfortable and a great color.

P.S. This one is almost entirely sold out but they have this two pack in black and grey that looks like the same thing

3: Toddler Girls Trench Coat

This great basic trench is a classic at any age. It also comes in the sweetest light pink.

I initially bought it so my daughter could match me and she reaches for this one as a light spring jacket all the time.

4: Boys two piece play set

I had low expectations for this little set after I snagged it for $5 on sale last year. It has held up remarkably well! The shorts are comfortable with an elastic waste. The striped henley top is very thin (without being sheer) but has been worn and washed over a dozen time and hasn’t faded or worn out. I love that the pieces can be worn separately or together and both my 2 year old and 7 year old wear them regularly.

The set is sold out but this one looks super similar and there are more two piece sets here.

5: Peterpan Collar Blouse

This was from my first Shein Kids order 4 years ago and finally got retired from my daughters closet. It started out as a more of a dress and she wore it for 3 years (adding shorts or leggings as she got taller and it acted more as a shirt).

I love Shein Kids for cute/ unique blouses like this.

6: Red Dress

This little button down dress is a great basic for any little girls closet. You’ll find similar styles at comparable brands for $20 and this one is only $8.

7: Striped Blouse

I get lots of Zara vibes from this statement top. We also have the matching shorts (which don’t make the cut because Adelaide called them “itchy” ).

8: Sunglasses

These are the cutest little find for a couple of dollars. I love the style and color options.

I can’t find ANY kids sunglasses on their site anymore (or adult sunglasses for that matter). They must have discontinued the entire product line. But, they have launched PET SUNGLASSES. I’m not even kidding.

That is one thing about Shein – you definitely can’t count on something to stick around or be restocked.

8: Initial Baseball Cap

I snagged this for my daughter for Christmas and am impressed with its construction. I like the weathered look and the embroidery.

This particular one is sold out but this looks like the exact hat without the embroidered A.

9: Bow Bag

Shein has tons of cute little bags for little girls and this is one of my favorites we’ve ordered. I can’t find the listing for this one anymore but just read the reviews and you’ll find something fun.

10: Gingham Romper

How darling is this gingham romper? We bought it in pink (sold out) and blue last spring and it is ideal for dressier events and birthday parties.

My only complaint is that there is hardly any stretch to the fabric so it isn’t ideal for climbing around a playground.

Also available in a happy yellow here.
