Mini Shein Review: Girls Striped Statement Top
I fell in love with this top when I saw it on the website. It reminded me of this Zara dress Adelaide had when she was younger and I thought it would be a great neutral top to wear with shorts now and pants later.
First impressions:
It needed a steam right out of the bag (like every Shein piece). I use this $30 steamer from Amazon and love it. It takes the wrinkles right out of pieces like this.
It isn’t lined (like most Shein pieces).
There is very minimal hardware (only one button closure in the back) and it looks much nicer than it is. The fabric on this one is thicker/ has a bit of structure and looks like something you’d get at Zara. This one is nicer than all of the other Shein tops we’ve ordered over the years andI wish it came in more colors!
Fit:
I ordered this top in 5y for Adelaide who turned five earlier this summer. It fits well and has a little room for her to grow. The structure of the top means sizing isn’t super important. Adelaide wears a 5t in most US brands.
