5 Current Favorite Children’s Brands

I’ve been buying children’s clothes for close to a decade. I love how so many new and unique brands are popping up. Gone are the days when Gap and Old Navy are your only options for cute clothes!

If you’re looking for some fun new pieces for summer, check out some of our favorites.

Here are a few brands I have been shopping and loving in the last two years:

1. Colored Organics

I love Colored Organics for my toddler. I’ve been shopping their pieces since my last baby was born and they have a beautiful, muted, color palette and darling prints. I particularly like their footed sleepers but just ordered some play clothes for the spring from the Picnic Collection. The pieces are very soft and I love how they mix and match for a summer capsule that we’ll wear on repeat.

This is my toddler’s most worn brand at the moment.

They have baby and toddler sizes.

2. Noralee

I discovered this dressed-up cousin of Ryee and Cru last year. We have a handful of dresses for my older daughter and they are beautiful.

Noralee releases a new collection 1-2 times a season. If you have a wedding, photoshoot, or celebration coming up, these are stunning.

Tip: Noralee rarely discounts their dresses but the boutiques that carry the dresses do. I’ve purchased Noralee dresses at about 50% off from Barn Chic Boutique and Ladida.

3. Petite Revery

When you want something your kids can play in comfortably while still being cute, Petite Revery is a great choice. My toddler lives in these pieces and they’ve held up well to messes + washing.

Petite Revery pieces are playful, comfortable, and a little boho. Our favorite set from them is this hoodie (with the matching sweatpants).

4. Quince Kid’s Cashmere

I’ve been shopping on Quince for womenswear for a few years but this is my first year trying their expanding kids collection.

My 9-year-old got the cashmere joggers + sweatshirt for his birthday and he LOVES them. They are incredibly soft and have held up well over the last 5 months. We also have the fisherman sweater and toddler washable cashmere. They’re both equally soft and beautiful.

Quince cashmere makes a fantastic gift.

Little English Christmas outfits (these cashmere blend cardigans are our favorite)

5. Little English

This year the kid’s Christmas outfits were from Little English. While we’ve put away the plaid, the sweaters and corduroys have become staples (especially now that the school uniform colors include red).

Little English is great for special occasions especially if you’re looking for that classic, east coast prep.

Honorable mentions:

  • Little Sleepies: I finally got a pair of these famous bamboo sleepers and they’re fantastic. They are so stretchy and last forever. I finally understand the hype. My toddler also understands the hypes and loves these. I didn’t realize they have so much more than pajamas and we also have a few of their playwear pieces which are equal parts comfortable and cute.
  • Tea Collection: I’ve seen Tea online for awhile but finally got a few outfits in the fall and these pants are my boys (4 and 9) most worn over the last six months.
  • ThredUP: I place an order on this second-hand platform a few times a year to order things for my kids. I mainly look for things from Ralph Lauren, Janie and Jack, and suit jackets from J.Crew. Here’s 45% off your first order.
