Everlane Swim Review [2024]

Today we’re talking about Everlane’s One Pieces and swimwear, some of my very favorite suits, ever. I have purchased from Everlane for years. These suits were gifted and all opinions in this review are my own, just like always.

Everlane Swim: The hunt for a great one-piece suit

I have been on the hunt for a really great quality classic one-piece. The ideal candidate is flattering, comfortable, and stands up to lots of wear. It stays in place while playing in the pool with kids but isn’t boring.

Back in high school my go-to favorite suit was this red one-piece (seen here) and I wore it for a full decade before it finally got replaced. Since then, I’ve wished I had a great red one-piece on more than one occasion.

I was PUMPED when I heard Everlane was launching a swim line. I have loved Everlane jeans for years and am always impressed with the quality of Everlane products for the price. Let’s see how their suits stack up:

Have you heard of Everlane before? They’re an American retailer that has a handful of physical locations but really shines online. They educated their consumers on supply chain right on their website and tote high end pieces and affordable prices. I have a handful of their jeans, tees and shoes

Everlane Swimsuit Review

I ordered the square neck one piece and the v neck one piece. I haven’t tried their bikinis but they have a couple of different two piece options.

First impressions

Right out of the package I fell in love with the bold colors of the suits. The blue is deep and classic while the red is bold and fun.

The fabric feels just like my favorite compression Lululemon leggings.

How is the quality on the Everlane Swim?

Everlane One Piece Swim fabric is made from a thick, stretchy material with a bit of matte that holds you in. It is buttery smooth and very comfortable on. I’ve worn and washed the suits many times and they look the same as when they arrived (no fading, pilling, etc).

update: These lasted regular wear (and borrowing from a certain sister each time she visited) for the last year without pilling, fading, or otherwise noticeable wear.

How is the fit on the Everlane Swim?

I am 5’4″ with an average torso and the straps on the square neck one piece are a tiny bit long for me. In an ideal world they’d be a little bit shorter but this wasn’t enough of a deterrent to keep me from wearing it. The red one piece was still my most worn piece this summer. The vneck has adjustable straps.

What is the cut of the swimsuits?

The cut of both swimsuits is very flattering. I LOVE the square neck on the red one piece and the deep scoop in the back . The bum has medium to full coverage.

The v neck is quite low and its balanced out by the rest of the suit being pretty conservative.

How is the Everlane Swim Sizing?

The swimsuits run true to size (if not a tiny bit large) so order your regular size.

For reference, I’m 5’4″, usually wear an XS and a 32C and ordered an XS in both swimsuits.

Worth re-ordering?

Yes, I would absolutely buy the square neck one piece in other colors / prints. It is one of my most complimented suits and favorite suits to wear.

They brought the square neck one piece back this season in more colors along with a few new cuts of suits and additional two-piece options. If I weren’t pregnant, you know I’d be ordering and wearing another one all summer.
