The Most Comfortable Outfit at 18 Weeks

Every woman should have a pair of these magical pants! I bought these as part of a two piece sweater set post partum a few years ago and have worn them at a good 30 pound weight range. It turns out they are also fantastic while pregnant.

On Saturday some girlfriends celebrated a birthday by driving into Long Beach for shopping, dinner, and roller skating (my first time ever and it is NOT the same as roller blading or ice-skating). I was looking for something that felt cute enough for birthday celebrations but would be very comfortable for dinner and skating. Plus, I’m still feeling pretty yucky and nauseous in the evening so cozy was key.

Outfit formula:

Wide let knit pants + smocked floral blouse + denim jacket + sneakers + belt bag

outfit details:

blouse: Shein (non-maternity) – this exact colorway was recently restocked and they have lots of super similar options at very budget-friendly price points. This is the kind of thing I love to order from Shein. It steams well, looks more expensive than it is, and the style is something that I love right now but might not want to wear 4 years from now. Full mini review here.

denim jacket: Banana Republic (many years old – a great staple)

knit pants: Shein (these are 3 years old and part of a two piece set that is sold out – but they have lots of similar options – I just ordered these to see if they’re similar enough to recommend)

Sneakers: Veja – I’m obsessed with these and just found them fully stocked! They’re mostly sold out on Shopbop, Anthro, and Nordstrom (read the full review here)

belt bag: Amazon – LOVE this bag (I’ve given it as a gift twice since buying it for myself)

watch: I got this for my thirtieth birthday a year and a half ago and have worn it most days since. It is a gorgeous, classic piece (and a good price for a quality time piece at just under $200).
