On the beaches of Guadeloupe
They say warm weather is right around the corner but we’re packing for snow in New England this weekend. And so now I’m busy dreaming about the gorgeous sunsets and warm sands of Guadeloupe last month.
I spent plenty of kid-free hours lounging on a beach catching up on podcasts and rays (Boston doesn’t get very many of those this time of year). I shared my favorite entrepreneur podcasts in this post last year but I’ve also been loving Happier by Gretchen Rubin (everyone should listen to this), Mirror Mirror (a beauty podcast), and The Mom Hour (I like some episodes more than others).
Do you have any warm weather travels come up?
If so, I found the most darling pair of shorts on Amazon (at the best price point) that were so fun for our Caribbean wanderings in March. The high waist hits at the most flattering point but the loose linen fabric makes them comfortable for lounging on the beach. The shorts come in two colors but only one size (the elastic waistband mean they have plenty of give so the one size fits a wide range).
These make for a great beach coverup over a suit or alone with a white or chambray top! And here’s to hoping I have a reason to wear them again sometime soon.
outfits details:
shirt: old from J Crew but I love this upgraded white tee
shorts: Amazon! the price can’t be beat and they come in two colors
hat: stolen from Ben
swim suit: Kate Spade (comes in a few different colors)
