I hope you had the most wonderful Easter weekend! I stayed true to Friday’s post and didn’t get more elaborate than Peeps S’mores and coloring Easter egg printables. I did snag a few things for Easter baskets on Friday and Lincoln has been happily calling his Froot Loops “Easter Cheerios” for the last 24 hours.
Today I have the cutest little shirt for you because I’m trying to be better about changing out of gym clothes each day. I find I’m quite a bit more likely to do that if I like the options hanging in my closet 😉
Cute enough for date night and casual enough for an afternoon at the park, this is the classic striped top I live in as a mom with a fun little sleeve update. I’m always searching through my closet for something that is comfortable enough to wear all day, that won’t get ruined with babies, and is hopefully not the same college tee I wore to the gym that morning. And with those requirements, I usually end up grabbing one of the same three things and not feeling particularly cute or put together. This shirt though, is something I’ve been grabbing a lot lately and feeling so good in. The fabric is thick enough that it will hold up well wash after wash and I bet you can’t even find the stain Adelaide so kindly left me before we snapped these photos 😉
Apparently the rest of the world had the same love at first sight affair with this shirt as I did because it’s sold out online and I couldn’t find it in stores last week. And I was excited to find ALMOST the exact same shirt at J.Crew Factory for you but, it’s available in only select sizes here. So I’ve rounded up a few other basic tops with fun sleeve ruffles (and that short sleeved one below is only $9.99!). And next time I find something this good I’ll post it sooner, promise 🙂
