I’m continuing a new series here today with a mini Shein Review! You can always grab my 5 secrets for finding the best things on Shein in this post. These are not sponsored (I order these things myself).
I’ve been loving this quarter zip trend (I ordered this quarter zip from Everlane and it is AMAZING) and wanted to compare how the Shein version held up. I picked this pink one because of the waffle texture (which doesn’t disappoint) but also ordered the purple one from Shein Basics for my sister.
Out of the bag it looked the same as it did on the website (a good thing). I loved the texture. I was uncertain about the weight because I thought it might be heavier.
It fits true to size and is a good length (not too cropped, not too long). I sized up to an XS for a bit of a looser fit.
I have no complaints. I really like the waffle texture of the material. The sweatshirt is unlined but its soft and substantial (for being unlined). I’ve worn and washed it 2-3 times already and its held up (no fading, wear, loose strings) and seems to get softer.
Where I wear it:
I wear this over leggings and a tank top to a workout and with jeans out and about. I also wear it with sweatpants around the house.
I love it.
I wear it.
I would recommend it, especially if you’ve been wanting to jump on the quarter zip trend we’re seeing everywhere without spending a ton.
I bought it for $20 but right now it is on sale fo $9 for Black Friday. Plus, you can stack coupons on top of that (“BFDEAL” for an extra 10-15% off when you’re spending more than $30).
My only complaint is it seems to only come in this pink color. The Shein basics version my sister is wearing comes in a few more colors but doesn’t have the waffle texture (although it is softer right out of the bag).
