Loyal Hana Maternity Review

Today we’re talking all about Loyal Hana, a fashion forward maternity and nursing brand, in this honest review. All opinions are my own. This post may contain affiliate links.

Loyal Hana Review

Have you heard of Loyal Hana before? This mom-centric clothing line makes beautiful pieces perfect for pregnancy and nursing. Loyal Hana really shines when it comes to quality and stylish pieces that you’ll really want to wear, whether you’re pregnant or not.

I had a few of their pieces years ago during my second pregnancy back in 2016 that I really loved. I ordered a few more in 2022 to see if the quality had changed.

Here’s how they stack up:

Fit: 

I ordered a size S in maternity (my tts at this point and one size up from my regular pre-pregnancy size). They work really well right now in my second trimester. A few of these pieces will NOT be things I can wear through the end of my pregnancy.

I gain 40 pounds each pregnancy and most regular maternity clothes don’t even work come 37 weeks. That said, the tops from Loyal Hana have a little less room for a fully grown bump. The fabric on many pieces also isn’t super stretchy.

I love how the fabric gives their pieces more structure (and they look nicer than some regular maternity pieces) but if you’re 35 week and looking for a shirt to live in for the next month, try something else.

If, however, you’re looking for clothing that is bump friendly, that doesn’t scream maternity, and that will work for nursing, don’t skip Loyal Hana.

The fit of these pieces is fantastic for post partum and dressing not pregnant. I had a white eyelet nursing/maternity top from Loyal Hana I wore for 3-4 years post partum before it ended up in my sister’s closet.

Quality 

The quality on all the pieces I’ve had from Loyal Hana over the years is top notch.

The one exception is the Joey tee, which, in the white/cream color, is pretty sheer. I still wear it (with a maternity tank/undershirt underneath) and love the flutter sleeve details. It is a beautiful, well-made shirt but I really wish the fabric were a bit thicker.

I love that the materials are machine-friendly fabric so I don’t have to worry about dry-cleaning.

Loyal Hana Hidden Nursing Zippers:

Loyal Hana pieces come with hidden zippers for easy nursing access. You can’t see them while you’re wearing the piece and they don’t detract from style or comfort. I love that these zippers give you more diversity in styles and cuts than other nursing brands. You see different silhouettes in pieces from Loyal Hana because they don’t have to be a wrap top or something to easily pull up or down to nurse.

Conclusion: 

A beautiful, high quality maternity brand to put on your list.
