This is slip I used and LOVED under maternity dresses during my last pregnancy. It is pricier and worth every penny. This made a big difference under my maternity bodycon dresses.

Best Places for Blue Maternity Dresses
Budget Friendly Places to Shop for White Maternity Dresses:
thredUP:
This online thrift store offers a wide range of maternity clothes at a lower price point. Per usual with thredUP, you can’t always find exactly what you’re looking for each time you sign on, but I used thredUP to snag designer maternity jeans and plenty of cute maternity tops. I like thredUP best for higher priced maternity brands that don’t go on sale very often. They have great search options so you can easily see what blue maternity dresses are available.
Poshmark:
If you’re looking for a specific blue maternity dress, you can use this secondhand platform that allows users to sell items from their own closets to you. Maternity clothes are great things to consider buying second hand because they have usually only been worn a handful of times over the course of a couple of months. Just remember that the people selling and shipping your items on Poshmark are regular humans (sometimes they forget to ship, miss a deadline, or don’t accurately portray the item). Poshmark helps mitigate things when they go wrong so you’ll get your money back if something goes wrong on their end, but, if you need a blue dress for a baby shower this weekend, have a backup if you’re trying poshmark.
Old Navy:
Old Navy is great for trendy pieces and my favorite non-maternity budget jeans (rockstar 24/7) come in maternity sizes, too! They usually have at least one option for a blue maternity dress and you can scroll through all their other fun maternity basics while you’re on their site.
Right now they have lots of blue maternity dresses including this cute chambray option.
Shein Maternity
This fast fashion industry giant has recently expanded their affordable fashion to include maternity pieces. Shein takes trendy pieces from top retailers and makes lower quality, lower priced versions. This means you might not want to rely on them for the maternity pants you want to wash and wear 50 times this pregnancy but they are great for dresses, blouses, or anything for those final weeks when nothing fits. If you haven’t shopped at Shein before, I shared a full post on tips for finding the best things on Shein here. They have LOTS of options for lower quality blue maternity dresses. They also have tons of blue dresses that are bump friendly if not specifically maternity.
Shein usually runs free shipping without an order minimum on Sunday (but you’ll probably want to order 2 sizes or a few different options and use their free US returns to make sure you get the perfect blue maternity dress). The dress I’m wearing in this post is Shein and it is made from a cheaper, thin, polyester. It easily steams and looks cute (I got lots of compliments on the beautiful color when I wore it).
H&M:
I have a few tops I love from H&M maternity and you can’t beat the price point! They have classics and trendy pieces and their sizing runs a bit small. Stock up on their cute striped shirts and check out their nursing friendly line as well. You can’t always find a blue maternity dress on H&M but, if you do, it is guaranteed to be cute, flattering, and on-trend. Check here if you’re looking for a chambray or a blue striped shirt dress (their more common blue pieces).
Walmart:
Have you checked out Walmart’s maternity selection? They have more options online than in-store (like most stores) but have some darling options for dresses and tops. Their prices can’t be beat, especially when you’re sticking to actual Walmart brands like “Time & Tru” instead of other brands they list on their website, and there’s a good mix of basics and more trendy pieces. Search their site and see if they have any blue maternity dress options right now if you’re on a budget.
BooHoo:
The price point here is great but you get what you pay for when it comes to quality. Don’t expect these to last daily for a few pregnancies but if you need something cute to last you for the next few months, check them out.
They do have a really wide selection of blue dresses and so many sweet pastel options that would be so pretty for a baby shower.
Mid-range Stores for Blue Maternity Dresses:
GAP maternity:
Gap has been an American favorite for a long time. When it comes to maternity, you can expect the same as their regular brand (but maybe at slightly steeper prices). Gap’s pure body maternity tees are my favorite (although I initially got them on thredUP), their modal joggers are a maternity staple for me, and they also have a cute assortment of other maternity pieces. They always have a few good neutral maternity dresses, and sometimes you can find one in blue.
Pink Blush Maternity: (#1 rec)
Pink Blush has the largest collection of stylish maternity and post-partum options. Some of my favorite piece from Pink Blush Maternity are their wrap dresses which work well with a bump, while nursing, and post partum. Pink Blush also has the most gorgeous dresses for maternity photoshoots. Wondering what to wear for your shoot? Here’s a whole post on how to pick your maternity photoshoot outfit.
You can filter on the Pink Blush site by color so it is easy to find all their blue maternity dresses. Here are a few current favorites (if they’re still in stock)
Asos:
Asos has great pieces that don’t scream maternity. If you’re looking for something really on-trend, start here. I love their denim and their selection of maternity dresses. They also have great tops and more unique pieces and lots of formal wear options if you have a special event while pregnant. You can search by color and I’ve always found blue maternity dresses I would wear on ASOS.
They have SO many cute options right now ranging from $40 – $150.
A Pea in the Pod
A Pea in the Pod is a great curated selection of mid and high end maternity pieces. They carry some great designer jeans as well as other budget friendlier pieces. This curated selection is a hit or miss if you’re looking for a specific dress (like a blue maternity dress), but, they are worth checking out and will likely have something that will work. Plus, you can trust the quality of whatever you find on their site, even if its a new-to-you brand.
Motherhood Maternity
This is another of the Motherhood brands (Destination Maternity, A Pea in a Pod, and Motherhood Maternity are all owned by the same company) that carries an assortment of trendy maternity pieces. Whether you need a cute top for brunch with girl friends or a casual dress to live in all summer, check out their selection. If you’re looking for a formal blue dress for your maternity photoshoot, this isn’t your best bet, but if something casual works, they are worth checking out.
TopShop
This European brand carries maternity pieces that look just like their regular line. Check if out if you want edgy, casual, european style blue dress.
P.S. If you already checked out Asos, skip this one. Topshop and Asos are in the same family of brands and all the Topshop maternity pieces are listed in the Asos maternity section.
High End Stores with Blue Maternity Dresses:
Hatch Collection:
They make classic and trendy pieces that work well during maternity and post partum . They are pricey and really great quality. I have loved everything I’ve owned from them (no blue dresses but I’m sitting here writing this wearing their v-neck maternity tee and it is the best).
They have a handful of blue dresses right now that are all gorgeous.
Seraphine Maternity:
Almost four years after my first pregnancy I STILL have Seraphine pieces I wear without a baby bump. They are cute, great quality, and don’t scream “pregnancy.” If you can find a dress in blue you like, you can count on it to be high quality and something you’ll feel great in (or at least the fabric will feel great on your bump).
Liz Lange for Target:
Target doesn’t disappoint and maternity is no exception. Some of my favorite maternity leggings were just ones I snagged at Target. They also have cute tops and dresses at a great price point.
They have a handful of really cute blue maternity dresses right now!
Nom Maternity:
One of my two favorite maternity dresses of all time is from Nom and they are as comfortable as they are cute. If you’re looking for a great, stylish dress you can live in all of your pregnancy, this is it.
Isabella Oliver:
If I had no budget for a maternity wardrobe, I think I’d order everything from this catalogue. They carry so many great silhouettes in gorgeous colors and comfortable fabrics. You can find something in lots of shades of blue and the fabric of these dresses is a dream.
Tiffany Rose:
If you have a special event while pregnant, glance through their collection of beautiful dresses! I cannot recommend this line enough! They carry it at Nordstrom but have more options on the Tiffany Rose site. I’ve worn these gowns for a few different formal events over the years and they’re the highest quality maternity pieces. They always have a few different options in blue.
Nordstrom
Nordstrom carries as assortment of maternity pieces. Be sure to check out their selection online because it’s much bigger than in store. Shop their maternity dress selection here and filter for blue colorways. With Nordstrom you can shop a wide selection of maternity brands but still take advantage of Nordstrom’s return and shipping policies.
Ingrid and Isabel
In addition to a full line of maternity and nursing apparel, Ingrid and Isabel also carries active maternity wear with great reviews. They have some of my favorite maternity pieces including dresses you’ll want to wear all the time.
Shopbop
Shopbop always has a very well curated selection of well made pieces from a variety of brands/ designers and their maternity selection is no exception. They carry brands such as Hatch, Seraphine, and Blanqi as well as a good mix of designer maternity denim. They offer free shipping and convenient, free returns. You can usually find a few maternity dresses (likely from Hatch or Ingrid and Isabel) and you’ll get to take advantage of their super easy returns and free shipping.
