Pepper Bra Review (2026): Is It Worth It for Small Chests? My Take After Almost Two Years
This Pepper bra review includes which Pepper bra I wear most, the one I don’t recommend, and how they compare to what I was wearing before (and what I have bought since). This post is not sponsored. I bought the product myself and it may contain affiliate links.

When you’re on a girls trip with 10 women, 35+ babies between you, and someone recommends a bra for those post baby small boobs, you listen. After 4 babies I am working with far less up there than I used to be. For years I was wearing the same padded victoria secret bra I bought in person (after a morning of jury duty in Boston back in 2015). I also bought a Natori bra from the nordstrom sale and it was great. By this time, though< i was in the market for some new ones and was intrigued by the claim that they were designed specifically for smaller chests.
So, on December 5, 2024 I ordered:
- Lift Up Bra
- Signature All You Bra
- FeelGood Wirefree T-Shirt Bra
- (and the Fine Mesh Hiphuggers on final sale for $8 because they looked fun)
So, are the Pepper bras worth it? Lets get into it.
What Is Pepper?
Pepper was founded by Jaclyn Fu and Lia Wiinograd and they design only fro AA, A and B cups. Their goal was to give smaller chested women better support and better styles. The band sizes are 30 up to 40 or 42. They do have wirefree styles that use letter sizing (XXS through XS) instead of band and cup.
Pepper designers found that a cup shaped for a small chest lies flat isntead of gapping the way a standard bra does when its just made smaller. By changing the cup shape, you get a much more flattering and comfortable, supportive fit.
I ordered all of the pieces directly from wearpepper.com but you can also shop their products at Nordstrom and Amazon.
The Pepper Bras I Wear the Most
⭐ Favorite Overall: Lift Up Bra ($65)
I bought this in a creamy white color called ecru and it has been my most worn bra for the last few years. It is comfortable and flattering, although not life changing. It has an underwire pushup with a gradually padded up that gives a smaller chest some good lift while still looking very natural under clothes. When I want any shape in a fitted tee or dress, this is the one I reach for.
Quality Note: After almost two years of heavy rotation, I still really like this one. There is no stretching or wear to the underwire. There is some staining from self tanner on the white bra but that is on me and my color choice
Sizing note: ordered a 34B because your last fitting put you at a 32C or a 34B. Paid $55 in December 2024, it’s $65 now
But just to set expectations: the lift is flattering and fits a small chest well, but it will not give you the “look, I have cleavage with a AA” result that some of the pepper ads suggest. It does give shape under a fitted top without being uncomfortable by the end of the day. I would still recommend but don’t go in thinking this is going to change your life.

FeelGood Wirefree T-Shirt Bra ($55)
This is such a comfortable bra! There is no underwire with lightly molded foam cups. The straps convert to a racerback (but honestly, I just read that on the product page, I have never converted the straps on mine). I wear the FoodGood bra on lower key days or when I’m not wearing something fitted up top (typing in it right now under a loose cashmere crewneck).
I have lost a little weight since this order two years and and could probably do with a smaller size here but I haven’t tossed this one because it is so comfortable.
Sizing note: ordered a small. Pepper’s product page says customers find the band slightly snug and suggests sizing up if you’re between sizes. Paid $44 in December 2024, it’s $55 now
Quality note: you can see in the picture below that there is some wear and stretching (its still super comfortable but you can tell its worn)

What I Don’t Recommend: Signature All You Bra ($60)
I wanted to love this bra. It is Pepper’s underwire plunge with lace all along the neckline. I got it in Black Cherry, a seasonal deep maroon, but they have lots of other colors. The problem is this is just not nearly as comfortable as the Lift Up… so it never really got into a regular rotation.
Its one job now: my tanning bra. Self tanner needs about six hours to develop and the maroon doesn’t show stains the way a white bra would (speaking of self tanner – this new organic find from Amazon has been a huge winner this last summer – not orange at all).
Quality note: the lace is falling apart even though it’s the bra I wear least.
Sizing note: 34B . I paid $48 in December 2024, it’s $60 now
Between the comfort and the lace, this is the Pepper bra I’d recommend you’d skip. Put the money toward the Lift Up. The one caveat is if you don’t need any lift and have more chest than I do, this one might be great.
Pepper Underwear: The Fine Mesh Hiphugger
I added these to my order because they were on final sale for $8 (so no returns or exchanges) and seemed fun. The mesh feels a little sexy while being way more comfortable than a thong. I found it ran true to size and ordered a small.

Pepper Bra Sizing: How the Fit Compares
The last time I’d been fitted before this order, I was told I was a 32C or a 34B, so I ordered a 34B in both underwire styles and a small in the wirefree. Since then I’ve lost weight, and I’m closer to a 32A now (which is mostly why I eventually went looking for new bras).
The part Pepper gets right is the cup. The bras are built for a smaller chest, and they fit well, without the empty space at the top that I’d come to expect from bras made for everyone. If you’re unsure of your size, Pepper’s fit guide explains sister sizing: a 36A and a 38AA hold the same cup volume (the same way my old 32C and 34B do), so if the cup fits but the band doesn’t, you can go down a band and up a cup, or up a band and down a cup, instead of starting over.
Pepper’s 30-day window for exchanges is helpful. Keep the tags on when you try them on, just to be safe. But I know, I know, ordering bras is kind of the worst. If you’re willing to do a free return, I’d recommend ordering two different sizes and then compare how they feel.
Pepper vs. the Soma Bras I Bought After
After almost two years of wearing the Lift Up and the FeelGood on rotation, I finally bought new bras a few weeks ago. I had changed sizes and wanted someone in person to fit me for a new one so I went to Soma. I had seen someone online recommend them previously and Soma was the one place within driving distance that had a fit specialist and was open at 6:30pm when I decided I really needed new bras immediately.
I came home with a wirefree Soma bra that still has some lift and a Soma push-up plunge bra. Some of what I bought at Soma has more lift than Pepper’s push-up, more of a true push-up look. That said, the Soma pushup bras are significantly less comfortable for me than the Pepper bras. Pepper Lift Up is still more comfortable than any of them. I’ll buy another one sooner than later and still reach for the Pepper Lift Up even though I have brand new bras. I still wear the Soma for added lift (but honestly, they don’t fit as well under a tee shirt – you can see more of the bra lines and I know they technically fit because I had a specialist fit me in store).

Is a Pepper Bra Worth It? Who It’s For (and Who It Isn’t)
What I love:
- Cups designed for small chests that fit well, especially after kids changed what I was working with
- The Lift Up Bra gives flattering, natural-looking shape and has held up to almost two years of heavy wear
- The FeelGood Wirefree is comfortable enough to be an everyday bra
- Free returns and exchanges within 30 days with tags attached
What to know:
- Prices have gone up $10 to $12 per bra since I ordered in late 2024
- The lace on the Signature All You Bra fell apart
- The push-up gives shape, not dramatic cleavage (not quite what the IG ads were leading me to believe)
- If maximum push-up is your priority, I found more lift at Soma, though with less comfort
- Sizes stop at a B cup, and sale items can be final sale
Pepper is a good fit if you’re in the AA to B range and your current bras gap at the top, or if you’re a mom whose chest changed after kids and a regular bra in a smaller size isn’t cutting it. If you’re still in the nursing season, my Kindred Bravely review is a better place to start. Pepper does make sports bras, but I haven’t tried them; the workout pieces I’ve worn are in my Halara review.

Pepper Bra Discount Code
I don’t have a Pepper discount code to share yet. I’m working on one, and I’ll add it here as soon as I have it. In the meantime, Pepper runs a sale section, which is where my $8 hiphuggers came from. Just check the listing before you check out, because some sale items are final sale.

Conclusion: Will I Buy Pepper Again?
Yes, and I already know which one. The Lift Up Bra is a great balance between lift and comfort and it has earned its place by being the bra I reached for the most over the last two years.
If your drawer is still full of bras you bought for the body you had three kids ago, consider this your sign to try one Lift Up Bra and see how it feels at the end of a long day.
Looking for more basics I’ve tested? My Quince review covers the pieces I still wear years later (maybe they’ll launch bras soon, too).
Pepper Bra FAQ
For small chests, yes. My Lift Up Bra has been worn more than any other bra I own for almost two years and is still comfortable. Skip the Signature All You Bra, whose lace didn’t hold up.
Yes. Pepper is a real brand founded by Jaclyn Fu and Lia Winograd, and I ordered directly from wearpepper.com in December 2024 and received everything I ordered.
A Pepper bra is a bra designed only for AA, A, and B cups, with cups shaped to lie flat against a smaller chest instead of gapping.
The Lift Up Bra gives good, flattering lift, but not dramatic cleavage on a very small chest. Expect shape under a fitted top rather than a big push-up look.
Underwire styles use band and cup sizes, and wirefree styles use XXS to XL. Pepper’s fit guide includes a sister size chart, and the FeelGood product page says its band runs slightly snug, so size up if you’re between sizes.
Bras have free returns and exchanges within 30 days with tags attached. Items marked final sale, like my discounted underwear, can’t be returned or exchanged.
Not from me yet. I’m working on a code and will add it to this post when I have one. Until then, Pepper’s sale section is worth checking before you pay full price.
