Mini Shein Review: The Striped Bodysuit

Today I’m sharing another Mini Shein Review. You can find my full review of Shein and shopping tips here.

Mini Shein Review: The Striped Bodysuit

I have been looking to add a few more bodysuits / fitted tops to wear with the non-skinny jeans I’ve been loving. When I saw the mockneck and stripes on this one I had to try it.

First impressions:

Right out of the bag I was surprised with how tiny it is! I was also excited it isn’t see through. For $7, I was initially pleased with it, pending I could get it on.

Material

The material isn’t very stretchy which makes it a little bit hard to get into. The material though, is also not see through, which is a HUGE win for a tight white inexpensive top.

Other reviewers have compared the material to swimwear. That isn’t quite right but this isn’t your basic cotton top.

Fit:

This top runs SMALL. I ordered an XS and wish I would have ordered a S or a M. Go one size up for a very fitted look and two sizes up if you want to be a tiny bit looser.

Styling Ideas

  • With straight leg jeans
  • With any skirt (body suits are great because they eliminate the problem of keeping things all tucked in)
  • Paperbag shorts or trousers

Price:

$7 for a non-see-through white bodysuit? Yes please.

Conclusion:

If you order your correct size, this is a great budget piece to pair with straight leg or boyfriend jeans. It would also be great with denim skirts (or any solid skirt) this spring! It will also be a great layering piece.

**Just a reminder that bodysuits (along with underwear, beauty products, and lingerie) cannot be returned.
