CB Cashmere (Como Boca) Honest Review: Quality, Sizing & Is It Worth It?

Today we’re talking about a new-ish to me brand, Como Boca (Note: CB Cashmere was formerly known as Como Boca and rebranded in 2025). and diving into the quality of their pieces. All opinions are my own.

Iโ€™ve shared plenty of affordable fashion reviews over the years (looking at you, Quince and Shein), but today weโ€™re talking about a brand that sits in a completely different category: CB Cashmere. Think luxury feel, timeless designs, and investment-worthy fabrics.

The price point is higher โ€” closer to J.Crew Collection or even above โ€” but after trying four of their pieces for the last year and a half, I can honestly say the quality matches the price.

One note up front: not every piece on CB Cashmereโ€™s site is created equal. Some are 100% silk or cashmere (like the ones I chose), and others are blends with polyester or nylon. I intentionally picked pieces with the highest fabric composition, and theyโ€™ve all exceeded my expectations.

Puff Sleeve Mulberry Silk Tee

This puff sleeve tee is made of 100% mulberry silk, and you can feel it the moment you put it on. The silk has just the right balance of flow and structure โ€” not flimsy, not stiff.

I love the color, especially since it sits right in my seasonal color palette (have you had your color analysis done?). Itโ€™s the kind of top that instantly feels polished whether youโ€™re pairing it with denim, trousers, or a skirt.

Verdict: A timeless, elegant piece that feels classic and refined.

(this exact shirt is sold out but they have a few other 100% silk pieces and some beautiful cotton/silk blend pieces like this top)

100% Cashmere Cardigan with Pockets (My Favorite)

The pocketed cashmere cardigan I ordered is sold out, but it’s the piece that set the bar for cashmere from hereon out. Look for any 100% cashmere cardigan with a similar structure on their site. Itโ€™s soft, luxurious, and far more versatile than I expected.

  • I wore it to a celebratory dinner with white jeans.
  • I layered it over a silk slip skirt for a summer wedding on a cooler evening.
  • Iโ€™ve thrown it on with everything from casual denim to tailored dress pants.

The pastel blue surprisingly works year-round and gets compliments every single time I wear it (especially from stylish women who know their fabrics and ANYONE who gives me a hug or touches it).

Verdict: The standout of everything I ordered. This cardigan will be in my wardrobe for years to come.

Elegant Knit Cashmere Cardigan

This is another 100% cashmere cardigan, slightly different in structure from the pocketed one. It feels like a forever piece – something you could have bought 10 years ago and still be reaching for 10 years from now.

The knit is smooth, it is a medium weight, and it adds that touch of understated elegance to anything you pair it with. My only complaint is I got it in a medium and I wish I had it slightly less oversized for dressier outfits.

Verdict: A classic wardrobe investment.

Wide-Leg Silk Pants (Brown Damask Floral)

At first glance, these might look like simple brown silk trousers, but up close youโ€™ll notice the intricate damask floral pattern. Parts of the floral are just slightly sheer, which gives the fabric dimension and a subtle interest.

Iโ€™ve worn them:

  • To church, styled with a simple blouse.
  • Out for a fun girlsโ€™ night with heels and a cashmere tee.
  • Dressed down with a denim jacket

The elastic waistband makes them comfortable, while the detailing makes them feel elevated. They lean more โ€œspecial occasion,โ€ but Iโ€™ve been surprised at how often Iโ€™ve found chances to wear them.

Verdict: A fun statement piece that elevates an outfit without being over the top.

How CB Cashmere Compares

CB Cashmere Vs. Quince:

I love Quince for affordable staples, but the quality here is noticeably higher. Quince often recreates well-known styles where CB Cashmere feels original and fresh. Quince pieces are pretty noticeably Quince (or maybe I just have spent so long scouring their site?). I’ve owned Quince cashmere pieces and love them but the quality on CB Cashmere is better.

CB Cashmere Vs. Everlane/J.Crew:

CB Cashmere is closer to J.Crew Collection pricing, but the fabrics and designs have that extra je ne sais quoi. I would say they’re on par with Everlane quality and a step up from J.Crew cashmere.

A Note on Fabric Composition

This is important: CB Cashmere carries both 100% silk and cashmere pieces and blended items. For example, they have t-shirts that are only 7% silk mixed with polyester.

I can only speak to the four pieces I chose, all of which were 100% silk or cashmere โ€” and the quality has been exceptional. If youโ€™re going to invest at this price point, I highly recommend double-checking the product descriptions to ensure youโ€™re getting the pure natural fibers.

Pros & Cons of CB Cashmere

Pros

  • Exceptional quality in 100% silk and cashmere pieces
  • Unique, original designs
  • Timeless wardrobe investments
  • True to size and flattering fits
  • Versatile styling (especially the cardigans)

Cons

  • Higher price point (not budget-friendly)
  • Some items on the site are blends so be sure to check fabric composition
  • Certain styles (like the silk pants) feel more trendy than timeless

Final Thoughts

A year and a half in, I have zero regrets. The cashmere is still soft, still holding its shape, and I’m still getting stopped for compliments on the cardigan. I’ve worn these pieces to church, to weddings, on girls nights and don’t plan on retiring them anytime soon.

My only advice: read the product descriptions carefully before you order. Some items on the site are blended fabrics and they’re not what you’re paying for. The 100% silk and cashmere pieces are where it’s at.
