White on White in Mykonos
White on White
One of our favorite nights in Mykonos we got dressed up for dinner. It was a place a few people had recommended and their tips included “wear white.” The restaurant was snuggled right onto the edge of the water, beneath the iconic windmills of Mykonos. And that night, it was entirely booked out for a wedding.
We couldn’t even be upset about it because it was the most gorgeous wedding, with waves from the Aegean lapping the side of the building while the whole ceiling of the entry was covered with fresh flowers.
I wore my favorite white denim (that I raved about in this full review here) and this fun bell sleeved blouse from Saks (still stocked in all sizes and available in navy).
We skipped the fine dining and spent the evening wandering the streets of Mykonos, taking pictures, and settled on street gyros for dinner and lots of gelato for dessert. The whimsy of the wedding, the fun of all being dressed up, and the feeling of new friendships settling in while the sun went down over the old port made this my favorite night in Mykonos (topped only by those Oia sunsets in Santorini).

^I don’t have a picture of us in front of the floral installation but here are our cute friends and those gorgeous flowers
