Hunt for great white denim

As a mom of two toddlers, good white denim has not been on the top of my priority list.

But when you’re headed to Palm Springs without kids in the middle of a Boston winter, and you have a great gift card dying to be used, you splurge.

And there were plenty of times last summer when I wished I’d kept that pair from pre-kid life, because a good pair of white denim is an easy way to look more put together than a regular pair of jeans.

Last month I tried two different pairs – one from my favorite designer denim brand and one from a new brand I’d never heard of before.

And between the AG Jeans and the Mother jeans, there was a clear winner.

note: Denim is one clothing area I think is worth spending a little bit more in. When you’re buying classic and flattering cuts and styles, they’ll last years and years. I’ve also seen Mother Denim pop up on thredUP from time to time (where I bought all my first pairs of designer denim).

Mother Denim White Jeans Review:

Material: These are the white pants I have been looking for, and by far the best white denim out there! They’re thick enough to not be sheer. They’re stretchy but with plenty of support + structure. They don’t loose their shape after a day of wear. In comparison to the AG pair the material is thicker and more supportive.

Length: They crop length on these make them great for summer and also ideal for someone on the shorter side who doesn’t want to get pants hemmed (I’m 5’4″).

I just checked and Mother does offer full length white denim but I’ve only tried this cropped pair.

Conclusion: I LOVE these. If you’re looking to invest in a good pair of white jeans, go order these ones.
