Being in a new area here in Boston one of the things I’ve been dreading is setting up appointments. I need to schedule doctor appointments for the kids, dentist appointments for all of us, and I was about due for an eye exam.

Making an appointment online for Target Optical

Luckily, Target Optical® made the last one of my list super easy to cross off. After the kids had gone to bed one night I took care of everything online (and after hours!). I could simply book an appointment at a Target near me right from their site and a few days later I was in for my exam.

The actual Target Optical appointment

I showed up a few minutes early and instead of checking out the cute flutter sleeve blouses Target had on display, I tried on a few different pairs of sunglasses before filling out a bit of my medical history. It was a standard eye exam, with a friendly optometrist who explained things as she was doing them. She also taught me something new about contacts and how my eyes react to mine, which was fascinating.

The whole thing took under thirty minutes and after getting a script for new ACUVUE® Brand Contact Lenses headed my way soon, I spent a leisurely half hour strolling Target without kids (which basically felt like a vacation). Gotta love being able to take care of appointments, cross off grocery shopping, and enjoy a little home decor inspo all under the same room.

The optometrist gave me a trial of the ACUVUE® at the appointment and I’m already loving how breathable they are, perfect for long afternoons behind a camera or mornings at the gym.

I can’t wait for the rest of them to come in!

Do you wear contacts? Glasses? Both?
