Cincinnati Favorites: Fountain Square with Saks Fifth Avenue
One of our favorite things to do in Cincinnati is visiting downtown and walking around Fountain Square. Its a short walk to my favorite place to grab a bite (Tom & Chee) and there is a Graeters on location for all our ice cream needs. In the winter they turn part of the square into an ice skating rink (you can see pictures of our Valentine’s ice adventures here) and in the summer the square hosts concerts and salsa nights.
Naturally then, when picking our favorite spots around Cincinnati for last month’s shoot with Saks Fifth Avenue and Emily-Jane, Fountain Square was at the top of our list. Later this week and next I’ll be sharing a few more of our favorites from around Cincinnati and Sak’s spring/summer collections.
^^the perfect neutral bag to transition from summer to fall
^I loved this classic layered look on ben with the subtle pattern mixing and bold shorts
^this was our last location of the morning so by this point my hair was a bit crazy (with rain threatening any minute, it was quite humid)
^selfies in the square
^This guy is such a great sport for supporting me – waking up at the crack of dawn to change outfits five times and pose for a few hours may not be his ideal morning, but he does it with a smile on his face (and a pretty cute smile at that 😉
^we’ll probably count these as three year anniversary pictures so the heart balloon was fitting 🙂
The AG denim I’m wearing here are easily the most glorious pair of jeans I have ever put on. I paired them with an effortless white blouse which would be a workhorse in any closet (and is oh-so-comfortable!). The Stuart Weitzman sandals pulled in the neutral and gold tones of the bag and with the thick low heel, they’re easy to wear all summer long.
On me:
pants: AG denim
top: Joie (similar)
sandals: Stuart Weitzman (on sale)
bag: Rebecca Minkoff (almond color available here)
