Cincinnati Favorites // 513 City Flea in Polka Dot Tights
Once a month Cincinnati’s artisans, vintage collectors, and food truckers (think real life etsy shops) get together in Washington Park for the 513 City Flea. Ben and I embraced the fall weather, added some layers, and headed downtown for an authentic Cincy experience. There were piles of unique jewelry, old books, and home decor options. There were also the perfect cognac vintage boots in my size from a place that only took cash. We spent the midday hours meandering among the stalls, soaking in the energy, and picking up a few trinkets.

and then we spent the rest of our Saturday enjoying these:
^^and the whipped cream filling we put in them was infinitely better than the shortening base all the recipes I found called for (it also didn’t last very long – if we make them again I’ll share a recipe )
