My Fall Fashion Wish List [2024]

Today we’re talking fall fashion and I’m sharing a few things on my wishlist. This post is not sponsored but may contain affiliate links. All opinions are my own, just like always.

The weather is still waiting on the memo but leaves have started to change and fall collections have hit stores. It is time to crank the AC and pull out your sweaters.

It also means my birthday is around the corner and I’ll take any excuse to add one or two things to the fall lineup.

Here are a few pieces I have my eye on with all the new seasonal drops.

  • Pull-on Wide Leg Trousers: I’m looking for something that gives the same look as a polished trouser with a stretchy waistline. The goal is something as comfortable as my wide-leg Good American jeans that gives me another option for day-to-day. I have my eye on these.
  • A Big Slouchy Bag: If budget weren’t a concern, this bag would be top of my list for fall. The color, the suede, the silhouette – perfection. But, I’m keeping my eyes peeled for something similar(ish).
  • Leopard mules or loafers: I love a leopard footwear moment. This is the season to buy them because there are SO many options. I love these for daily comfort or these for a more put-together look.
  • Velvet: Give it to me in dresses, pants, shoes, skirts, clutches, and blouses. I’m on the hunt for something in a dusty color instead of jewel tones (can you tell I just had my colors done? apparently fully saturated jewel tones aren’t my best). These pants from Anthropologie seem so fun for the holidays but not too crazy for more regular wear.
  • Betty Cardigan from Sezane in Rosewood: My sister brought me back this little lady jacket from Paris last summer in ecru with navy stripes, and it is perfect. The hazelnut is gorgeous and so is the ecru/camel striped version.
  • A Barn Jacket: The Cassidy jacket from Rag and Bone in particular or this one at 1/4 the price from one of my favorite New England brands.
  • Brown Suede Pumps: This pair from Veronica Beard is perfection. They are also perfectly on trend (suede! brown!) while being classic enough to wear for years to come.
  • A full skirt: We’re seeing a lot of full skirts and balloon skirts this season and I love the look for fall paired with a chunky sweater (and then again at the holidays with a slinky top). This one from Jenni Kayne (in deep green) is perfection.
  • This leopard belt: My current leopard belt is a cheap piece I bought off Amazon three years ago and it is time to replace it with something that will last.
  • Low Curve Jeans from Agolde: Agolde does denim so well. I love that these have a hint of the trendy barrel silhouette without being too much. They’re relaxed, chic, and perfect.

What pieces are on your fall wish list?

Bonus: The Funnel Neck cashmere from Vince is always on my fall wish list but the very last thing my wardrobe needs right now is more sweaters. Womens tracksuits are also apparently trending and I’m all about something that makes it fashionable to wear something as comfortable as pajamas in public. I might need to add one of those to the list.
