Little Striped Dress // Special Occasion Style

^^I layered this Lauren Conrad sweater over the dress to add some warmth and turn the dress into a skirt. I had to the bottom of the sweater up and belt it because its a regular length but I love the way it turned out.The red belt adds a little Valentine’s pop but you could keep it neutral with a black belt or go for another fun color.
^^These riding boots were on sale and I wanted to bring home the brown ones too. 
^For an easy day to night transition, all I had to do was take off the belt, sweater, and leggings, and add a necklace and heels (totally doable if you’re on the go). Looking back, I’d probably add tights for a Valentine’s look but I love how you can wear this dress now and then keep styling it all spring/summer. 
^The bow heels were my very favorite find at Kohls (they have them online for 50% off right now!). 
^A bright clutch is a fun way to bring in color this the classic black and white palette 
^Little earrings keep the bow theme from the shoes going 🙂 
^I love this boy – and that he’ll jump in pictures with me. 
That dress is darling! Definitely makes for a lovely outfit both ways you styled it 🙂 Gotta love Kohl's!

So cute!! I love wearing dresses as skirts. Felt weird the first few times, but I got over it fast. Versatile clothing is THE BEST.

I wish I had a Kohl's closer to me. I did when I lived in NJ but here in Montana the closes one is 6 hours away. You look great and that dress can go all year long as you've so beautifully shown.
