10 Favorite Purchases of 2025

In January, I like to look back and take stock of the things I bought and actually loved the last year—not just the things that felt exciting in the moment. This list is exactly that: my top 10 purchases of 2025 that I use all the time and would absolutely recommend. Some are from brands I’ve loved and shopped for years, while others are newer discoveries that quickly earned a permanent place in my rotation.

A few of these were higher‑end items I’d been eyeing for years before finally biting the bullet (no regrets), and a couple are tied to trips—pieces that now carry memories along with them. Others were sourced secondhand in like‑new condition, which makes me love them even more. These are the things that stuck, that earned their keep, and that made everyday life just a little bit better.

1. Alo Airlift High-Waist Leggings

Worth the hype (wish they weren’t, but here we are). Truly. I have slowly but surely ditched almost every other pair of leggings in my workout drawer, and I wear these at least four days a week. I’ve tried a few Alo fabrics, but the Airlift ones—with that subtle sheen—are my favorite. They’re compressive without feeling restrictive, flattering without trying too hard, and they hold up beautifully to constant wear (daily).

sizing tip: I’m 5’4″ in prefer the 7/8 length

2. adidas Country II Sneakers (Fox Brown / Cream White / Dark Brown)

Favorite sneaker of 2025! These are comfortable, sleek, and somehow manage to work just as well for walking on the treadmill at the gym as they do for finishing a cute outfit. I love this brown-and-gum colorway because it acts like a neutral while still feeling a little bit like a statement (adidas has been killing it with their sneaker color combinations). They’re sporty without being clunky and instantly make even leggings-and-a-sweatshirt feel intentional.

3. Jo Malone Wood Sage & Sea Salt Cologne

This year has truly been the year of Jo Malone perfume for me. I started with a sampler set and had so much fun trying a handful of scents, eventually picking up a few minis and settling on Wood Sage & Sea Salt as my everyday go-to. Inspired by the windswept British coastline, it’s fresh, a little earthy, and effortless in a way that never feels overpowering. Before this I was 100% a sweet perfume gal but I LOVE this one.

What I love most about Jo Malone fragrances is how beautifully they layer—I’ve enjoyed pairing Wood Sage & Sea Salt with other favorites like Blackberry and Bay. Their scents feel timeless, versatile, and personal, and they’ve completely changed how I think about wearing fragrance day-to-day. They’re a bit of an investment so I recommend starting with a discovery set to figure out which scents you love (especially because you can see how they wear over the course of the day).

Anine Bing Spencer Sweatshirt

I’ve been low-key eyeing this sweatshirt for literal years and finally bought it on a birthday trip to Park City from a small boutique. It felt a little silly to spend this much on a sweatshirt—but of everything I bought this year, this is the most worn clothing item on this list. It perfectly filled the “cute sweatshirt” gap in my closet. I love it with leggings for the gym and just as much with straight-leg denim for afternoons spent playing with my kids.

This specific sweatshirt is sold out but now I’m eying this one – LOVE the green.

EltaMD UV Green Tinted Sunscreen

I got a facial on Newbury Street in Boston last fall, and the esthetician was incredibly knowledgeable. I passed on the (very expensive) serum she recommended, but I did say yes to this green-tinted sunscreen—and I’m so glad I did. It’s amazing for my general redness, layers beautifully under makeup, and I’ve been wearing it religiously ever since.

ba&sh Gaspard Cardigan

Another piece I’ve been eyeing for years and finally caved on—then promptly bought in two colors. She’s beautiful. I love her. The chunky knit, the weight, the gold hardware… it’s one of those pieces that makes even the simplest outfit feel elevated without trying.

(They do have a couple colors 50% off right now!)

Quince Mongolian Cashmere Tee

I loved this so much I bought it in multiple colors. It’s the perfect upgrade to an everyday tee—polished but still effortless. Ideal for warmer weather when you want something that feels like a sweater, but without the actual warmth. I wear it with jeans, dressier pants, and skirts, and it always works.

Sizing tip: I size up 1 for a slightly looser fit.

Quince Italian Acetate Sunglasses

After losing my beloved Karen Walker sunglasses (which I wore almost daily for years), I replaced them with two pairs from Quince. This pair in particular is beautifully made and very reminiscent of my old favorites. They come with a dust bag, a hard case, and genuinely nice packaging—which feels like a small but meaningful detail.

Medicube Collagen Night Wrapping Mask

A friend gave this to me, and it’s the one skincare product I added this year where I can genuinely see a difference the morning after I use it. My skin looks smoother, more hydrated, and just… better. Plus, peeling it off in the morning is deeply satisfying.

I can’t believe the price on this one. It was a gift and I fully expected it to be 3-4x the price when I went to repurchase.

Kérastase Discipline Keratin Smooth Shampoo & Conditioner

I really upped my hair game this year, and this set has been such a standout. My hair feels more hydrated, smoother, and healthier overall. I just ran out and will absolutely be repurchasing—which might be the highest compliment I can give a hair product.

If there’s a theme running through this list, it’s that I’m far more interested in pieces that earn their place in my everyday life than in things that just look good for a moment or season. These are the purchases I reach for without thinking—the ones that make getting dressed, getting ready, or going through the day feel easier and a little more enjoyable. If you’ve been eyeing any of these, I hope this gives you the nudge to go for it. And if you have a favorite purchase from this year that you can’t stop using, I’d love to hear about it!
