Date Night: Any Day Now

Still pregnant over here (are you sick of hearing that yet?). I’ve been trying to take advantage of hiring a babysitter for only one child and squeezing in one on one time with Ben when we can. Last week we snuck off just for an hour or so to grab dinner downtown without missing getting to cuddle Lincoln to sleep (another thing I’m trying to soak up these last few days). We tried an Italian place downtown we’ve been meaning to go to for over a year and I was grateful for adult conversation and a reason to change out of gym clothes.

I’m down to just a few maternity pieces that still fit, including this striped number from NOM I got last time around when I was pregnant with Lincoln. It means other than gym clothes, this dress, a maternity chambray from Gap, and a pair of black J.Brand maternity pants are basically what I’ve been living in (although lets be serious, I change out of my yoga pants twice a week at this point).

Next date night, we’re eating spicy Indian food after running intervals at the gym.

If you could send all your labor vibes this way, that would be great 🙂

dress: NOM (old but their new arrivals here)  // wedges: Kork-Ease (via thredUP) – the most comfortable heels I’ve ever, ever worn // bag: Newlie, c/o
!function(d,s,id){var e, p = /^http:/.test(d.location) ? ‘http’ : ‘https’;if(!d.getElementById(id)) {e = d.createElement(s);e.id = id;e.src = p + ‘://’ + ‘widgets.rewardstyle.com’ + ‘/js/shopthepost.js’;d.body.appendChild(e);}if(typeof window.__stp === ‘object’) if(d.readyState === ‘complete’) {window.__stp.init();}}(document, ‘script’, ‘shopthepost-script’);

  1. At 39 weeks today, the waiting game is driving me crazy, too!! You look awesome though and cheers for getting in all those last date nights!

  2. Look at that bump! You're looking great, and it's awesome you get some kid-free time. You won't have that for awhile, haha.
