Again and Again

Warm windy February days that feel like April? I’ll take it. Although I’ll also just take April. We’re doing some serious counting down over here as we finalize everything for our last hurrah before baby gets here (I’d call it a “babymoon” but I’m not a fan of the word and it evokes images peaceful adult naps on the beach and not the reality of a jetlagged 15 month old this vacation will entail).


Yesterday I talked about the one non-maternity item I’ve been buying lately: dresses — and I have another one today. At this price point, this striped number can’t be beat, whether you’re pregnant or not. Plus, the stripes pair just as well with cognac boots in the fall as they do with your favorite pair of sneakers for running around in warmer weather (a girl can dream).

Here are a few of my favorite midi dresses from Shein right now – I have a couple dresses from them and while you’re not getting J.Crew quality, I’d argue you’re still getting more than you pay for. Also, I love how on the site there are pretty comprehensive reviews of most of the items. Different customers have uploaded pictures of themselves in this dress and out of 65 comments the dress is a 4.9 stars. Apparently I’m not the only one who loves it.
