Piper and Scoot Review – Read before you order

This post is all about one of my favorite online boutiques, Piper and Scoot, the one of the best places for cute, unique, and affordable clothes.  It isn’t sponsored but we did work together once years ago back before I had kids (you can see those posts here).

One of my favorite online boutiques to order from is Piper and Scoot. Have you ordered from them before?

I love their selection of dresses but they also carry tops, bottoms, and an assortment of footwear and swimwear.

I discovered Piper and Scoot almost over TEN years ago when we collaborated on a styled shoot in Utah when Ben and I were out visiting for a climbing trip…and it has been so fun to watch their company grow so much over the years! They now have a brick and mortar store in Utah but whether you’re shopping online or in store, you can expect cute functional pieces at a great price point. Plus, Kylee Middleton (owner, founder) is the sweetest in person.

Why I love Piper and Scoot

When we moved to Utah in 2024, I was just a few minutes away from the Piper & Scoot boutique in Draper, and I couldn’t resist stopping in a few times. It is such a darling store to shop in with girlfriends—the customer service is always friendly, the dressing rooms are beautiful, and it’s so fun to see their full array of clothes in person. Over the past ten years, they’ve maintained fantastic taste while keeping their pieces in line with the latest trends in women’s clothing. From dresses to jumpsuits like the popular Bianca jumpsuit, to outfits that flatter different body types, Piper & Scoot makes contemporary clothing that feels wearable and stylish. I’ve always loved browsing their site for affordable prices and general goodness, but shopping in-store really gave me an appreciation for the quality and inner style behind their brand. Whether you’re checking out their new mobile app, following along on Instagram, or just editing your wardrobe with a few fresh purchases, Piper & Scoot continues to be one of the best places in the United States for beautiful, affordable, and functional pieces.

I’m consistently impressed with the quality of the pieces I get from Piper and Scoot. When you order online, especially from boutiques that are sourcing instead of sewing their own clothes, I worry that things won’t look nearly as good in person as they do on the website. But with Piper and Scoot the quality is consistently better than I expected given the price point. Like this dress, for example. I would have expected to see it hanging in Anthropologie for over $100 with it’s lining and intricate details. But instead it listed at under $40, full price.

They also stock well known brands in swim and shoes and offer free shipping on all US orders (without a code, hallelujah).

Piper and Scoot Quality:

In my experience, the quality at Piper and Scoot has always been better than expected for the price point. Their dresses come fully lined more often than not, sweaters hold up to regular washing without losing shape, and the fabrics feel soft instead of scratchy (a big win when you’re buying online and can’t touch things first). I’ve worn pieces for years and they’ve stayed in great condition—no unraveling seams or fading after a few washes. If you’re used to fast fashion where things look cute for one wear and then fall apart, you’ll notice the difference here. It’s not designer-level like Anthropologie or Free People, but it absolutely holds its own in terms of durability, fit, and overall value.
