Your Motivation

Finding your motivation.
Life isn’t about doing what you’re supposed to; it’s about finding what you love. And I believe when you find what you really love, that is probably what you’re supposed to be doing.
Recently, this week in particular, I’ve been struggling with what I’m doing, what I’m not doing, what I should be doing, what I should be wanting.
The problem is I want too many things. The other problem is sometimes I get caught thinking that I can’t do them, that I’m not good enough.
Sometimes we just need that little bit of motivation- to be better than we are, better than we think we can be. My motivation came in a surprising form yesterday, but I’ll take it.
Find your motivation.
Rediscover it often.
By the way, I’m going to be a brilliant political scientist.
And I’m going to save the world. (and if I don’t, its because I’ve found something more important)
Just watch me.

  1. I love this! My problem (and solution) exactly :). Basically, you're supposed to be doing what you love, and what builds you higher. And I'm so glad not to be building alone!!! It just takes a bit of self-checking and importance-defining.

    Love it.

And I'm excited to save the world with you.

  2. I love this post, even if I am still trying to find what I'm supposed to do with my life!

  3. Man, this post is perfect! I swear so much in life is mental. IF we believe we can be better, we will be.

ps. i tagged you in a post on my blog 🙂
