Weekend Wanderings: Downtown Findlay
Happy Monday! This past week Linc and I were both working through a cold while Dad was…enjoying sunny Nashville for a leadership conference. It meant 2 am nose sucking sessions and regular 5 am wakeups were left to just me and guys, WE SURVIVED! A few weeks ago when Ben came home with this opportunity I was a little bit terrified. A baby all by myself for a week? We are going to die. But we didn’t. After six days solo I have the evening routine down to a T and even managed to brave the grocery store alone (well, alone with the baby).
Saturday we ventured downtown because, even though we all have a few sniffles, we needed to get out of the house. It was a beautiful afternoon and after wandering through some side streets, we ended up at one of our favorite downtown joints, Alexandrias, and got something to go (something about bringing a baby to a pub on a Saturday afternoon just didn’t seem quite right).
Just a few pictures from our afternoon:
^because the rock climber in him comes out whenever we’re near a wall….
^Linc has started the “put everything in my mouth stage” and he loves sucking on this wrap whenever he’s in it š
^^Just waiting for our to-go order…gotta love a man with a stroller š
^any place that names all their burgers after Star Wars characters is a winner in my book (and the “duck fries” are to die for)
details:
Ben’s watch: Daniel Wellington, c/o (for the next few days use “elisabethearnshaw” for 15% off!)
My watch: Daniel Wellington, c/o
Baby wrap (this thing was a LIFESAVER this past week): Husband&Co Baby, c/o
Printer Diaper Bag: Petunia Pickle Bottom, c/o
my denim: Lucky Brand // shoes: Nine West // chambray: GAP
These pictures are so cute… and Star Wars themed burgers sounds like something that needs to be a part of my life.
thanks Paige! They're incredibly delicious…although sometimes I just want to order my favorite character instead of my favorite burger š
Those sweet little baby eyes are just gorgeous!
thank you! I sure think so – and spend quite a few hours each day just staring at them š
