It was sophomore year in British Literature when they told me eyes are the windows to the soul.
We are taught not to judge a book by its cover, but what of eyes? A smile can be forced, a tear feigned, but eyes cannot hide truth. Is that why it is so hard to look people in the eye when you are lying or ashamed? Is that also why, after just a 10 second gaze, you feel a deep connection with someone?
Challenge: Take someone you love, and stare into their eyes for 2 minutes. Just 120 seconds.
Open your soul.
