The Wedding Dress
Picking a wedding dress is a daunting task. Thousands of choices, to wear for one day, one very special day. I had a few things in mind and I was never set on wearing my mother’s dress. But really, there was no other choice. No other dress could have matched in beauty what this dress held in meaning, but oh was it beautiful! The bodice was covered in lace and cut pearls. The detailing was exquisite and the back was to die for. I felt like a princess, and to me, that was what I looked for in a dress.
I wore gold and pearl earrings and simple pearl bracelet, both gifts from my mother that morning. I wore the veil my mother wore to the ceremony but went with a full up-do and no veil for the reception. I wore bright red heels that stayed mostly hidden under the dress.

I LOVE THIS.
i wanted to wear my mom's dress that is SO similar to your's. the only big differences are that her dress's sleeves are elbow length and her's didn't have the little flowers in the tulle. i wanted to wear it so bad! it was just too long and it wouldn't have lasted through the alterations, and there were parts that were yellowed that we were unable to restore.
seriously though, this is such a beautiful dress!
