I’m just dropping in to say a quick hi before soaking up the 36 hours here in Texas. The common theme these past few days has been family and goodness am I grateful for mine. I’m grateful for my great-great-great grandparents and their sacrifices in coming to this beautiful country. I’m grateful for my grandparents who instilled a strong sense of friendship in my aunts and uncles which has translated into cousins that feel like siblings. I’m thankful for the examples of strength, faith, and service in this family just as much as I am for the laughs, the late nights, and the summers of fun.
From my family, I get the best of me. Along with that, I also get some of my best ideas. There are going to be some big changes around here in the next few months, reflecting some of the life changes I want to make. Don’t worry, it’ll still be me, and it will still be my blog – but I’m big into change – life is about changing, growing, and becoming – and so as I do that, this blog will evolve a little bit too.
That’s all for now.
The grandparents got here.
And the 1600 pictures Ive taken in the past 5 days just finished uploading. (phew)
In case you were wondering where I’m going to be for those last 36 hours, here’s a picture 🙂
