We are still getting adjusted back to our Eastern Time Zone (which is absurd because we landed back in the states a week ago) and Ben was fast asleep by 8 pm last night. I am still working my way through all of our Greece photos but in the meantime, I wanted to share some summer staples that I packed and have been wearing on repeat this month.
The perfect summer tee shirt dress
I found the perfect summer dress that can work triple time: daytime wear, swimsuit cover up, and nightgown (seriously, I’ve slept in it).
I wore it sightseeing around Athens all day. I wore it for dinner in Harvard Square last night. I wore it to the pool over a swim suit. It’s just one of those pieces you feel cute in while still being 100% comfortable.
You can dress it up with flats or wedges and some jewelry or you can throw it on with your favorite flip flops or sneakers. I layered on a jean jacket in the evening when the temperatures started to drop and have mostly been wearing it to the park with my kids.
The tee shirt dress is 100% cotton and super soft with the cutest ruffle sleeve detail (p.s. the sleeves fit just fine under a denim jacket but look a little silly under a cardigan).
Dress on sale right now for under $20
If you’re looking for an all-in-one easy summer dress, go snag this one at Target. Right now it’s under $20 plus an additional 20% off with code DRESS20.
For reference, I’m 5’4″ and am wearing a size S (the fit is TTS and while I usually wear an XS, I sized up for the added length and looser fit).
And a quick note about these sandals – if you’re looking for a neutral pair of sandals you can dress up and down and wear all summer long, these would be it. I packed them for Greece this month and wore them with an all white outfit for a nice dinner and also to the pool. A girl next to me was wearing them with a sundress at church on Sunday and you really can’t go wrong with them (they also come in a metallic, but I’m partial to this neutral leather).
