Spring Repeats

I know all these pictures are shot in a yard covered with snow (back at my parents last week), but here in Ohio temperatures are in the fifties and sixties and it feels like spring! It is light so much later in the evening and we took little Linc out for a jog in our new stroller last night in only a tee shirt (me, not the baby). This warm weather is good for my soul, I’ll tell you and has me so excited about the months ahead. Maybe it’s just the rising temps, or maybe it also has something to do with getting a bit more sleep these days (or maybe my postpartum hormones are finally settling down?) but I feel like I’m starting to get a handle on this motherhood thing and really find the fun in it.

This look is just all my go-to’s recently thrown together. This nursing top gets worn at least two or three times a week because its so convenient, goes with everything, and is incredibly comfortable. I found the jacket for 50% off while in New Hampshire and its light weight and ideal for spring weather. The denim is maternity because some days its just nice not to have to button your pants šŸ˜‰

Now I’m off to snuggle this little babe of mine who just survived his two month shots. I’m all for vaccinating, but my goodness is it heart breaking to watch your little one scream.

Have a wonderful day!

^realistically I’m in glasses most of the time these days

^I was SO excited when I found this jacket and have been wearing it all the time since (and by all the time I mean the four times I’ve left the house since). It’s a lighter fabric, but still thick enough that it’ll keep you warm in a chilly spring breeze.

    Hola Darla

    1. thanks Dara! The flats I've worn at least a hundred times and I'm so happy with how they've held up šŸ™‚

  4. So darling! It's taken me a while to love leopard, but I'm really starting to want a pair of flats like yours! As for shots, feeding Linc right before (and even right after) might help calm him down. It works for Sam every time! Also, baby tylenol is a big helper too. Just give it to him a few minutes before the shots and it'll help a ton. When the doctor would go out I would give him tylenol and then start nursing. Once the shots were done he'd usually cry for less than 2 minutes. It's so great!
