We are having so much fun here in Texas with all of the cousins this week! If it weren’t such a hassle to upload and edit pictures, I’d give you a few snapshots but blogging only happens in the wee hours of the morning when the party has gone to sleep and I have a few minutes of quiet before I collapse into bed. We’re spending the week honoring our Scottish heritage, our cowboy roots, and our Texas pride. Yeehaw.
To preface, my mom is one of six kids, and each of them had 3-6 kids, leaving us with quite a handful of cousins. So in my family’s defense, there are a lot of kids to keep straight, and the Earnshaw girls (me and my sisters) have always looked alike. Yesterday though, one uncle came up to my fourteen year old sister and asked her how her blog was going (she does not blog). Occasionally they have to ask the 14 and 16 year old which one is which. When I came to join the adult conversation on the patio last night, no one knew which sister I was.
And so I turn it over to you – sisters? Twins? Easily mistaken for the same person in a family of 30? Whether or not we’re the same person, we clearly have the same taste in shoes. We rocked the matching Sperrys back in Cincinnati last weekend. Twins for the win.
