Well, I have successfully survived this week. Between the two six page papers on Tuesday, the 40 minute class presentation on Monday, and the macroeconomics midterm yesterday, it has been quite the week. Yesterday my last class was cancelled and I celebrated an early weekend with a little mindless tv, kitchen cleaning, rock climbing, and visits from cousins.
And then there were the debates. They were a large step down in professionalism and quality from the the presidential debates without question. Ryan occasionally came across childish/ lacking in the poise I thought he had and I am ashamed to admit that interrupting, tackless man next to him is the Vice President of the United States. Disappointing on both sides in my opinion, but, I’ll save my real rant for later – I’m actually dying to get your opinions on something.
On a happier note, the weather has been cooperating with my fall fashion desires and I’ve spent the week in light jackets and sweaters. We’re also going out for dinner tonight with some friends before the boys compete in the Tough Mudder tomorrow morning. No idea what that is? Well, think an 11 mile run fraught with obstacles such as mud army crawling, running through live wires, ice baths swims – you get the idea. I may be a widow before the weekend is out.
