In November my beautiful cousin Michelle was wed by Parker, for time and all eternity. Their wedding was beautiful with a reception to match. Michelle is a school teacher and their reception was held in an historic school building (complete with old desks, chalkboards, and lots of books). I LOVE the pictures they took beforehand in the schoolroom (see above)! The decorations were a rustic mismatch of antiques (china, candlestick holders, hat boxes), lace, and burlap all dripping with pearls and flowers. No two centerpieces were the same, but each was gorgeous and simple in its own way. Oh and the food! They had a more casual menu that I’d take over fancy wedding food any day. The bbq was delicious and I loved the little chalk board explaining the menu.
Favorite detail: Blue and white striped straws for sipping lemonade from mason jars.
