Purple Boots and Today’s Happiness

Today happiness is a 20 minute nap on Ben’s shoulder and leftover macaroni and cheese. Its validation from a professor and a phone call home. Happiness is a cleaner apartment and hopefully a pack of mega stuff oreos before bed (yes, that FINALLY happened).
I am confident that if we can find happiness in little things, we will always have the power to be happy. Even when life is stressful or uncertain, there can be joy.

P.S. These purple boots are my new favorite and I’m loving that its warm enough to bring back some of my lighter jackets. Although its not quite warm enough that I’m dying to wear heels to church on Sunday – hence my new love for these boots.
