Old Montgomery with tassels on our bags

April 27, 2014 //  by Elisabeth McKnight//  2 Comments

Wednesday night some of my favorite people pulled into our apartment complex and it was sad to see them go this afternoon. My mom, youngest sister, her friend, and her friend’s mother (all family friends) came to Cincinnati for the girls’ ‘intercession’ week. It meant a few days of photography classes, thrifting, museums, and lots of yummy food.

Having guests come really helps me appreciate the city we live in. Cincinnati is far better than I expected it to be this time last year when Ben started working in Ohio. It will be sad to leave.

Here are a few pictures from an evening in Old Montgomery after a day of learning how to shoot in manual on their cameras.

^^These girls have been best friends since we moved down the street from each other about ten years ago.
^^I lived in this floral blouse this weekend (so comfy)
^^this bag is a fun thrifted find from this weekend! inside it has every kind of little pocket for knick knacks, which I love, and the leather tassels with the gold hardware sold me
^no time for curling means this two minute braid

^she’s pretty cute 🙂
^I love this shot of Jamie – I’ve been babysitting her since she was five and I can’t believe she’s all grown up!

Happy Sunday!
