Happy Monday! I hope you all had a wonderful mothers’ day. I got to talk to my little brother yesterday and I can’t believe he will be back from his mission in just a few short months. These past two years have changed him. Yesterday I talked to an older, responsible, hard-working young man who is grounded in his faith and runs on the joy of sharing the message of Christ everyday. Crazy to believe he is the same boy stuck gum in my hair. I can’t wait to see him. Two years, lots of letters, and three phone calls – I’m so proud of that boy. (I wrote more on Caleb being a missionary here).
A few updates:
+Yesterday was our first Sunday in our new congregation and I love it! Its amazing that wherever I’ve lived, whether it be in the heart of Tokyo, a small hillside town in Italy, a college city in Utah, or the suburbs of Cincinnati, the church is the same.
+We have a nest of baby birds in the rafters of our deck. I love waking up to them chirping.
+I booked my plane ticket back to NH this weekend!! With so many people getting married, I am loving the excuse to put on a gorgeous dress and be surrounded by family again in June.
+This outfit consists of all my current favorites. This jacket is the softest thing I’ve worn (it might look professional but it feels like an ultra-soft tee shirt, and with polka dot lining!). The shoes were from Jen’s wedding and they’re some of the most comfortable heels I own. I’m also hoping for this skirt in every color by the end of the summer (or just this and this).
+Thanks to a husband who puts up with my need to take pictures of everything and is turning into quite the photographer! Love ya.
