So I naively thought once I had this baby I’d be able to wear all my old clothes again. Not only does it take awhile to lose the pounds from pregnancy, but this whole ‘feeding a tiny human’ thing has me preferring clothes with “easy access” for the time being. Even though I’m almost exclusively pumping for Linc right now (a long painful story I might go into at some point) and I can get away with wearing non-nursing friendly items if we’re only going to be gone a short time, I’m still basically living in nursing clothes for the time being.
This number from Tiffany Rose arrived in December, just in time for Christmas Sunday. But little Lincoln decided to grow so fast (or maybe I was eating too many loaves of chocolate chip pumpkin bread) that it was a bit tight over my 9 month baby bump. I’ve loved wearing it since delivery though because not only is it nursing friendly, it is so forgiving of the post baby pounds. Its incredibly soft and the quality is fantastic. Plus, given that Sundays for church are often one of three times I put on real clothes all week, its a current favorite.
I paired it with this camel coat I’ve had on repeat and a fun pair of leopard heels I keep looking for excuses to wear (and to learn to walk in again). Have a wonderful Tuesday!
