I’m still recuperating from all our fun in Utah (the combination of eating out regularly, sleeping on couches, and rock climbing every other day killed me a little bit — by the time our trip was over I would have traded anything for our own bed and a big salad), but I’m finally getting to sorting through some of our pictures. These are all from a Saturday we spent with the Miller’s in Maple Canyon (near Nephi, about an hour from Provo).

^^You go through this small town/farm land to get to the canyon and we had to wait for some cowboys to herd their cattle across road…
^^five minutes later we had to wait for a mass crossing of sheep
^^This 85 pound 9 month old puppy always makes for an interesting day
^^Sarahjane snapped some pictures while I climbed
^^This girl is the best female climber I know …and even after taking a year off in Florida..she’s still awesome.
^These two are best friends and they make me happy (Ben and Dave were mission companions and Dave first got Ben into climbing).
^After Ben took a big fall, pulling Dave up off the ground a bit
^Leo’s first sips of Gatorade 😉
^Utah and the mountains are beautiful
^^The last place we climbed was an adventure just to get too (hiking up a steep mountain side, across a stream, and through a thicket)..but the views were beautiful.
^rock climbing gear: harness and chalk bag
^the most expensive pair of shoes I’ll ever own
^^Leo would get so worried every time Dave climbed – it was kind of adorable 🙂
^Sanuks were my best friend in Utah — the perfect climbing shoe for when you aren’t climbing
^more leopup love
^^I’m grateful for an adventurous husband that keeps our life interesting 🙂
