If you are reading this blog, you are a lucky one.
48% of you are sitting in front of a windows computer,
another 32% are reading this on their mac,
12% have the convenience of reading it from their phone
and there are 2% of you that are checking from your ipad.
No matter how hard today is,
no matter how difficult you’re scared tomorrow might be,
you are blessed.
I had a difficult conversation with a friend recently who told me her life was terrible. She was so stressed and miserable, so caught up in her own misfortune.
But, she had food to eat, an apartment to live in, a wonderful husband, and a great education.
You, too, have electricity and running water – and however tight the budget might seen this month, that makes you wealthier than 75 percent of the world.
Life can get hard, and bad things can happen, but that doesn’t mean you have to choose to be miserable. Your circumstances don’t dictate your attitude or your outlook. Happy people are not those who have everything they want, they’re people who choose to be happy regardless of what they have. Believe me, I do it to – I get down on myself and feel bad about something ..but really I need to JUST STOP IT! Feeling bad about something doesn’t fix it. Choosing stress doesn’t put more money in the bank, less hours on your work schedule, or better food on the table.
