Life Updates in my Favorite Chambray

We are back home from Vegas and attempting to get back onto a regular sleep schedule. Saturday night we got dressed up for a swanky dinner with the company, headed straight to a show with friends, and then swung by the hotel to pick up our luggage before catching a redeye. After a short layover we landed in Cincy just in time to dash home, brush our teeth, and make it to church on time. Needless to say by 3:30 we were fast asleep. We had a quick bite around 8:30 and were snoring again by 11. Sometimes traveling is exhausting (but, I’m not complaining).
Things might be settling down here a little bit as I start my first full week home in over a month. Next week we celebrate our two year anniversary (two years!), my brother gets off his mission in four weeks, and I’m dragging Ben along to Chicago for training the week after that. Somewhere in the middle of that I am determined to get our apartment furnishing and decor done. Yesterday I finally bought chairs for our new table (which I still need to finish sanding and stain) so no more eating on the couch!
On another note, we’re in the middle of a cool spell here in Cincy and it makes me so excited for fall (my very favorite season). While nothing can compare to NH in autumn, I hear we’re in for some pretty good foliage. Is it possible that it is August is already here and that summer is almost gone? Is it true that I said goodbye to Utah three months ago? Pretty soon I’m going to have to stop saying we just moved here.

Blouse: GAP // Skirt: c/o Twisted Simplicity // Heels: Franco Sarto // Wristlet: Vera Bradley // Earrings: c/o SugarLove Boutique

This chambray outdoes all others. Its the little pinstripes that do it. Its easier to dress up, my husband actually likes it, and it still matches everything. Gap, you did it again.

Have a wonderful Tuesday!
