Today I’ve partnered with JOHNSON’S® to showcase some of the ways I use JOHNSON’S® products in my daily routine.
I’m a big fan of JOHNSON’S products. My Mom used JOHNSON’S® products on me as a child, and I’ve grown up to trust using the same products on my babies. I’ll let you in on a little secret though,…I use their Johnson’s products on occasion on myself.
Yupp, I know, I know. I have a full cabinet of beauty products but the ones I find myself reaching for often are the same ones i use on my kids. When I’m out of one of my usual staples (or if it’s just put away on a high shelf), I always have a JOHNSON’S® product in my bathroom for the kids, and it comes in handy for me as well.
Here are a few of my beauty hacks using JOHNSON’S products:
JOHNSON’S® baby oil as makeup remover
You know those nights when you finally get the kids to sleep (well to bed at least), and you’re just exhausted? During the hustle and bustle of the holidays my energy level is even lower by the end of the day. I always still have a lot more on my to-do list, but showering or spending forever taking make-up off is just not an option.
JOHNSON’S® baby oil is a perfect item to grab in a pinch. It is gentle, yet removes my make-up. That way I’m not sleeping with make-up still on my face, which is bad for my skin.
JOHNSON’S® lotion for dry skin
I absolutely love using JOHNSON’S® lotion on my babies. That smell! It just takes me back to those early newborn weeks (and makes me just a tiny bit baby hungry).
I regularly steal this from Lincoln and Adelaide. It helps my skin’s dryness during the winter months and is so convenient to put on because it’s almost always out. I’ll use it after I get out of the shower but I’ll also use it on my hands throughout the day because we keep a bottle accessible in their room to use before bed.
JOHNSON’S® baby wash as hand soap
With two toddlers around the house, we are in a constant battle with winter time germs. We are stuck inside most of the time. Between the library and play dates (and the communal playroom!), the kids are always sharing toys with other little ones. It makes it almost impossible to ward off all those germs!
That’s why JOHNSON’S® baby wash comes in handy. I tend to over-wash my hands in the winter because of all those germs lurking around our apartment. That leaves them extra cracked and dry. JOHNSON’S® baby wash is a mild way to wash, which is gentle on my hands.
JOHNSON’S® baby shampoo to clean my make-up brushes
I used to be terrible about cleaning my make-up brushes. Am I the only one who didn’t know for years that you’re supposed to clean them every week? Then, I noticed that it really did affect my skin so I’ve been trying to clean them on a regular basis.
JOHNSON’S® baby shampoo is an ideal brush cleaner. It’s gentle on the brushes, but still washes them well (just like it does for a baby ;)). After my brushes are washed, I know they’ll be safe to use on my skin again because I haven’t used any harsh chemicals and the shampoo leaves the bristles super soft.
I bet you didn’t realize how many JOHNSON’S® products you can use in your beauty routine! We’re all looking for those little hacks that really make life easier, and these items definitely do the trick for me. It is nice knowing that JOHNSON’S® products are really timeless. From childhood to adulthood, they’re something we like to keep in the cupboard.
