Inspired: New Beginnings, Renewed Efforts, and Success.
In starting my last semester of school tomorrow, I have been on the hunt for things to motivate me throughout the semester. 2013 is a time that I want to focus on effort instead of achievement (although I believe achievement will follow). This week I have been inspired by the idea of my potential, of human potential, and the power of positive thinking.
I hope some of these quotes can speak to you the way they have to me this past week.
Here’s to new beginnings,
and finding success.
‘“Successful and unsuccessful people do not vary greatly in their abilities. They vary in their desires to reach their potential.” –John Maxwell
“It is the mark of an educated mind to be able to entertain a thought without accepting it.” –Aristotle
“He who asks is a fool for five minutes, but he who does not ask remains a fool forever.”–Chinese Proverb
“If we did all the things we are capable of, we would astound ourselves.”–Thomas Edison
One of the goals that I didn’t share with you last week was the desire to be inspired more often. It is an over arching theme that encompasses my spiritual goals, social goals, and academic goals. I am grateful for this girl who is holding me accountable after a conversation we had over break. You can hop over to her blog to see what is inspiring her this week as well.
What are you inspired by?
(if you write a post, link up in the comments – I’d LOVE to read it!)
