I finally made it home! After 29 hours on planes or in airports starting on Tuesday, it was hard to let myself believe I was actually back in Cincinnati. I really should share a post on the interesting people that you make friends with (or that try and make ‘friends’ with you) on overnight stays in airports. I was asleep was in bed by nine and asleep shortly thereafter. I have never been more thankful for my own bed.
Anyway, here are a some pictures from Saturday in Provo. Its probably a good thing I didn’t know this adorable store existed till after I moved or we would have had far more stuff to take with us to Cincinnati. Brambles and Blossoms is a beautifully curated antique store in south Provo and even if you’re from out of town, its a great place to go and get ideas for home decor or DIY projects (I’m excited about a few Valentine’s things we’ll be putting together after my visit!). We had fun using their gorgeous displays for inspiration and imagining what we could do with each of their unique pieces.
^^such a great collection of old frames throughout the whole store – perfect for an eclectic gallery wall!
^^There were tables and shelves filled with the cutest and most interesting pieces. If you’re trying to see everything, you could spend over an hour in there easily.
^^a cute little Valentine’s display
^pomegranates for the kitchen anyone?
^^my little antique store adventure buddies (ryan was a trooper)
^slate banners? how darling are they! and I love this display contrasting the crisp white and the dusty grays
^in honor of moving to Cincinnati, some vintage P&G soaps
^these would be perfect on a long chain as a vintage necklace
^they had a back room piled high with old windows … so many things I want to do with them
^^outside they have a fun old car which makes for the perfect photo opp 🙂
P.S. After we visited Brambles and Blossoms we checked out the Habitat for Humanity’s Re-store. How had I never heard of those before? Have you ever been to one?
