How to Impress a Houseguest

I spent the past 4 days with one of my absolute favorite people
We did/ate/wore way too many fun/delicious/cute things to one blog post.
And so I’ll start at the beginning.
[K&E Adventures] The Party of Parties
If you want to impress an out of town guest:
1. live in Provo
2. know a Covey
3. coordinate her visit with a party thrown by #2
Friday was my friend David’s birthday (which he almost managed to keep secret), and also the night he was throwing a St. Patrick’s Day party. The event was held at his grandfather’s house here in Provo, and let me tell you, the Covey mansion lived up to my expectations šŸ™‚
Kate’s first comment: “Is this your typical Friday night!”
It was a night of food, swimming, friends, dancing – and we skipped out on the sand volleyball and trampoline..but that’s okay šŸ™‚
The party – yes, this is at a house in Provo.

reunited at last šŸ™‚

cute little decorations on all the tables

highlight of my night (the rope swing, not some guy covering his eyes)

the birthday boy šŸ™‚

we even got to meet some leprechauns!

So no, extravagant parties are not a typical Friday night, Kate, but they’re great huh?

  1. Who's the birthday boy? He likes the Celtics. My kind of man! Haha.

  2. Nice to see the birthday boy is a Boston Celtics fan! 33…wasn't that Larry Bird's number?

  3. Wow! That kind of party would definitely impress me!

LOL at the random guy with his hand over his eyes in the photo of the rope swing that made your night! I wouldn't even have spotted him if you hadn't pointed him out, but once I did, I laughed. šŸ˜›
