Largest Hindu Festival in Utah:
The Holi Festival of Colors celebrates the coming of spring. Everyone has colored chalk and you throw it at people as you walk by. The worst is when it gets in your mouth. (Gross fact: I blew purple our of my nose for two days). Somehow I’ve lived in Provo for 3 years and this was my very first Festival of Colors. Ben and I went with my old roommates and his friend Court – we ended the night with Thai food. (We were feeling ethnic and cheap, meaning real Indian food was out).

The excitement at the prospect of seeing my family, 9 nights in TImes Square, and Model UN competition is almost unbearable 🙂
