Tonight I’m excited to share this fun little dish I put together with Jen and Ry up here in Idaho that would be perfect for game day entertaining. We all like different combinations of toppings on our tacos/nachos so I put together a chip dip bar where we each got to build our own perfect dip. I liked mine simple, with just some guac, cheese, and tomatoes, where as Ry layered on everything we put out.
This would be perfect to put together with family before the game. You can store it overnight in the fridge and then whip it out with absolutely no prep. You can have fun personalizing the containers like we did, with bright Sharpie colors so you don’t accidentally get someone else’s dip 🙂 Whatever entertaining you’re planning for the next few weeks, if you like chips and dip, keep this in mind.
Here’s what we had at our perfect dip bar:
***You can also mix taco seasoning into the sour cream if you want to give it a little more flavor but we liked it just fine without it.
^^Everything al set out to make our dips (I added snap peas so we had something to dip other than chips)
^breaking out the Sharpies to personalize our Rubbermaid tupperware
^^instead of using the Sharpies directly on the tupperware, you could use little white labels that you can peel off afterwards
^no fiesta is complete without some colorful beverages 🙂
^Jen hard at work putting together her own dip
^^she started with sour cream and added some guacamole
^^after the guacamole, she went with salsa and cheese
^^adding a little lettuce
^she topped the whole thing off with some diced tomatoes and sliced olives
^Ta da! When we didn’t finish all of it, we just slipped on the lid and kept it in the fridge for later. We’ll probably be snacking on these for the next few days up until I head back down to Provo (Utah bloggers, have you signed up for this fun event?). If you head to Target before February 8th, you can get one dollar off of your Rubbermaid or Sharpie purchase by texting COUPONS to TARGET.
