Every year I LOVE the idea of shopping small, supporting local businesses, and giving really personal, meaningful gifts to friends and family. But then I procrastinate or see the crowds parked at the mall, and decide to stick with easy online shopping (with free two day shipping ;).

You still get the convenience of shopping on Amazon (and everything I ordered had Prime two-day shipping) but they have an incredible selection of handmade wooden toys and other giftable items. Over 50% of the items are made to order so you can find something to customize and keep your gifting super personal this year.
I found some gorgeous hand carved wooden trucks for Lincoln and I can’t wait for him to open them on Christmas morning! There is something so classic about handmade wooden toys and I love knowing that these were carved by hand right here in the US. The quality and craftsmanship on the two truck we ordered is so impressive and I hope these are the toys we keep and pass down for generations.
I also picked up a lacing toy for Adelaide that will hopefully keep her quietly entertained for a few minutes on Sundays and a beautiful leather phone case for me (I couldn’t hold off and use it as a stocking stuffer because it went straight onto my phone).
My brown leather case is sold out already! They have a few left of the gorgeous maroon color and black.

Very informative post…,Wooden toys last longer, they’re more durable and could last for generations & these toys are easy to clean as well. and no chemicals used in making these toys,..We as parents of 4 year old also are addicted to wooden toys, they ave some advantages over plastic toys: it stimulates child’s imaginations creativity more and are less flashy and soundy. Recently I have bought a wooden puzzle toy for my kid as a birthday present which has 5 different characters to play and place back in the right place.Each location has the same pattern as the character to place it back easily.
