Family Date Nights
I’ll blame our fun weekend visitor for the radio silence the past couple of days but its been nice to almost completely stay away from the computer for a bit (although my inbox today says otherwise). We made some serious headway on the house and I’m so excited to have it all coming together. We’ve lived in this place for over six months now but between moving when 8 months pregnant, the holidays, and having a baby, we are just getting around to things like curtains and light fixtures. Sometimes you just need a fresh set of eyes to help you pull things together, am I right?
In addition to the house decorating (and decluttering), it is always fun to spend time with old friends, you know, the ones who knew you a few iterations ago? We’ve all changed quite a bit since high school, but there’s a comfort in having someone who’s known and loved you all along. Plus, its always a good time to do a little reminiscing…and it was a great reminder that I really lucked out in marrying Benjamin. Its not just that he’s great (in general I dated great guys), but he is really great for me, and I’m only starting to learn just how much.
Here are a few shots from a little family time before my friend got here:
^this guy <3 (also, I got him those sunglasses for our first christmas as a married couple while still in college!)
^the most comfortable of nursing dresses + a uniform I’m planning on living in for the rest of the summer
^Lincoln’s like “Mom, my bedtime is in twenty minutes and we’re skipping bath time for what, MORE pictures?” #unenthused
^I want to always remember how these tiny little fingers grasp ours
^Linc gets his lips from his daddy (and this is the one picture of all three of us š
Linc’s little oufit on sale here

Your husband knows how to dress very well. I LOVE his colorful clothes and that top with those shorts has to be my favorite of his all. I never realized how cute guy and baby boy clothes really is until I saw how yours dresses.
These pictures are all super adorable! I hope you show some pictures of your house as it comes together because I always love seeing interior inspiration for our own home!

Ok, yes this dress is SO cute! And blue looks amazing on you. Getting settled into a house takes forever, so I'm glad you're getting there! When Lincoln wakes up in the morning I want you to squeeze him for me!! Love those sweet cheeks!
Oh, your little baby is just so cute! I agree – that dress is super cute on you – I love wearing dresses in the summer, but sometimes find it hard to make them look casual – I like the look you have going on! š
You guys are cute as hell!
