Happy Fall! We might be having 80 degree weather this week but I’m still excited to bring down the boxes of cold-weather clothes this weekend and burn a candle or two. I’m also excited about adding a few new fall pieces to my wardrobe. I’m all about the looser fit right now at six weeks post partum and can’t wait for some of these to arrive in the mail.
It’s that time of year again when Shopbop does their big “buy more save more” event. You can get 20% off any order under $500 and 25% off any order over $500. Just look for items that are marked “KEY STYLE” and use code “STOCKUP19” at checkout. Here are a few favorites from the sale that would be workhorses in any closet this fall!
leopard sweater // Animal prints are everywhere this fall but leopard is still my favorite. This easy pullover is a fun statement sweater you can throw on with a pair of jeans and neutral shoes for a put-together look or dress up with a black pencil skirt.
corduroy pencil skirt // This tailored skirt is a fun way to incorporate this texture trend (and I like it quite a bit more than the corduroy jumpers we’re seeing everywhere).
sweater dress // Classy and comfortable, I love that this dress isn’t super form fitting (counting on it as a post partum staple for the next few months – only a few sizes left – this one is going fast).
perfect dressy sweater // I’ve been eying this Adler sweater since last winter. It comes in so many colors and I’m obsessed with the neckline. You can dress this up or dress it down and it has great reviews. I think it’s gorgeous in white and black…but this purple color and this powder blue are swoon worthy, too.
my favorite jeans // I bought these last year and they are my favorite pair of jeans to date. The cropped ankle length works really well on my 5’4″ frame and I’ve ordered a pair in a size up to wear post partum (I also have same pant in black and will order it in one of these washes once I’m back at a consistent pant size).
blush sneakers I bought pink sneakers from this brand 18 months ago and loved them for working out and wearing around town (especially traveling). I’ve put enough miles on them it’s time for a new pair and I love this blush color (this one is going FAST with only a few sizes left but I also love the same blush color fully stocked in this style).
straight cut jeans // I’m not quite ready to get on board with the nineties flare jeans (and don’t love the wide leg cut for daily wear without heels for my height) but this straight version of my favorite jeans feels like a good compromise. Again, this crop length is great if you’re under 5’5″ and looking for an ankle length jean without getting your jeans hemmed.
